Winter Awakening
You can tell by the amount of snow on his antlers that he
has just awoke after a long sleep. It's near dusk now and he knows he has
to go off and find whatever food he can to make it through another day. In this
piece I tried to show how cold and harsh his environment can be in the winter,
and, at the same time, showing it's peacefulness and beauty.
