The Painter
You may be wondering why I called this piece
"The Painter", I will explain. I was doing a show at a mall in Citrus
Heights, CA. when this little girl and her Father came into my booth and started
watching me draw this original. You could tell by their accent that they were
from the south. The little girl looked at my drawing and, in her strong southern
accent, said "look Daddy he's drawing a painter". The Father explained
to me that "Painter" is another name for Panther. which is another
name for Cougar, American Lion, Deer Tiger, Brown Tiger, Night Screamer, Puma,
Mountain Lion, or Cat-a-Mount (cat of the mountains). The
name was interesting enough so I used it for my drawing.
